Round vs flip-up floor sockets: which form fits the project?
Round floor boxes and flip-up floor sockets solve different floor-access needs. The right format depends on the desired capacity, visible finish and space available in the floor.
Choose round for more services and a decorative finish
The Green Home round IP65 range offers three-module and six-module formats with selected silver, old brass, red copper and gold finishes. It suits projects that need a visible decorative floor-access point with more module capacity.
Choose flip-up for compact, discreet access
GH-SOP-1 provides one flip-up socket position, while GH-SOP-12 provides two positions and four Type-45 module spaces. Both formats are intended for coordinated power and data access where a smaller rectangular opening is preferred.
Specify the whole assembly
Compare the protection condition, cut-out, base, module plan and finish as one assembly. The product form alone does not determine suitability; the floor construction and final configuration do as well.
